homeless shelter
Neubrandenburg's homeless shelter is located in the Ihlenfelder suburb.
It has a capacity for up to 26 residents (12 beds in the overnight accommodation, 12 beds in the living area and 2 hospital rooms) and offers modern living space for adult women and men until their homelessness is eliminated.
The house is barrier-free, has shared rooms, a shared kitchen and a lounge with TV.
An emergency room operates around the clock.
In addition to sheltered accommodation, people who have become involuntarily homeless also find a feeling of certain quality of life and new perspectives in order to be recognized in the community.
The daycare center in the immediate vicinity offers further help under certain conditions, e.g. E.g.:
- Clothing closet
- Clarification of the personal situation and rapid provision of suitable help
- Offers for a sensible daily structure
- Support in dealing with authorities and financial problems
The usage fees for our homeless shelter are based on the applicable statutes on the charging of fees for the use of the city of Neubrandenburg's homeless shelters.
The homeless shelter has existed since February 1992. It has been run by our association since it opened.
